Pura Tanah Lot - also called "Sea Temple" in German - is a Hindu temple on the coast in the southwest of the Indonesian island of Bali. Literally translated Tanah Lot means "land in the middle of the sea". Since the temple name pura is added across the board to every Balinese temple, the name is often abbreviated to "Tanah Lot".

Sanur is a bathing beach near Denpasar in the south of Bali. Borobudur

Borobudur is the largest Buddhist temple in the world. The colossal pyramid is located around 25 kilometers northwest of Yogyakarta on the island of Java in Indonesia. Borobudur was recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1991. It is considered to be the most important building of Mahayana Buddhism on Java. The stupa was probably built between 750 and 850 during the rule of the Sailendra dynasty.

Candi Prambanan is the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia and one of the largest Hindu temples in Southeast Asia. It is located about 18 km east of Yogyakarta on the island of Java. Pura Besakih is the most important Hindu shrine on the island of Bali in Indonesia and the “mother temple” of all Balinese temples. The temple was probably founded in the 8th century and is located at around 950 meters above sea level on the southwest slope of Gunung Agung, a volcano that is still active. The entire complex consists of over 200 buildings, including multi-level temple towers, shrines, open pavilions and other closed buildings.

The Komodo National Park is located in Indonesia, in the area of the Lesser Sunda Islands in the border area of the provinces of East Nusa Tenggara and West Nusa Tenggara. It comprises the three larger islands Komodo, Rinca and Padar, as well as numerous smaller ones, with a total land area of 603 km², with a total area of the national park of 1817 km². The park was established in 1980, originally only as a sanctuary for the Komodo dragon.

Taman Ayun is a temple complex in Mengwi in the Badung District on the island of Bali. The temple is considered to be one of the most beautiful on the island. Translated, the full name Pura Taman Ayun means 'Temple of the Floating Garden'. The complex is framed by numerous blossoming and fruit-bearing trees. Taman Ayun is the imperial temple of the Rajas of Mengwi and reflects the Hindu cosmos.

Taman Tirta Gangga ("Holy Water of the Ganges") is the water palace of Karangasem north of Amlapura in Bali. The last Raja Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem of Karangasem built this second palace in 1946. The complex was destroyed in the eruption of the Agung volcano in 1963 and then rebuilt. Today the facility is open to tourists.

The Monumen Nasional is a 137 m high tower in central Jakarta and symbolizes the struggle for Indonesia's independence. This monument was constructed by order of President Soekarno in 1961 and opened on July 12, 1975. A flame is placed on top, which is coated with 35 kilograms of gold. The viewing platform is 115 meters high.

The park is dedicated to the deity Wisnu and his mount Garuda. Garuda is a national landmark and forms the coat of arms of Indonesia. The park is a mixture of sculptures, gardens and cultural performances.

The Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park is located on the island of Java, in the Indonesian province of East Java, and has existed since 1982. The middle part of the name refers to the Tengger people who live here. The national park includes the 3676 m high stratovolcano Semeru, the highest mountain on the island, as well as four volcanoes located in the Tengger caldera, the most famous of which is Bromo.
