Palace of the People
The Parliament Palace in the Romanian capital Bucharest, formerly known as the "House of the People", is one of the largest buildings in the world in terms of area. Hunedoara Castle

Athenaeum
The Bucharest Athenaeum is located in the Romanian capital Bucharest. The building was built between 1885 and 1888 according to the plans of the French architect Albert Galleron. Several architects subsequently gave the listed Athenaeum its current appearance.

Iron gate
The Iron Gate is a breakthrough valley on the Danube. It is located in the southern Carpathians, more precisely between the Serbian Carpathians and the Banat Mountains, on the border between Serbia and Romania. Until it was defused in 1972 in connection with the Iron Gate 1 power plant, it was considered to be the most dangerous section of the Danube for shipping, which could not be passed without a local pilot. For decades, the ships were hauled upriver with locomotives.

Voroneț Monastery
The Voroneț monastery is located in the Voroneț district of the small town of Gura Humorului in the Suceava district in the historical region of Bukovina in Romania. The church of Sfântul Gheorghe, located within the monastery walls, was added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1993, along with other churches in the Vltava River. Arcul de Triumf is a triumphal arch in the Romanian capital Bucharest. The structure was erected in honor of the triumph in the First World War. A first forerunner was provisionally made of wood in 1878 after the country gained independence.
Cheile Turzii
The Cheile Turzii is a limestone gorge in the Trascau Mountains on the eastern edge of the Western Carpathians in western Transylvania in Romania, not far from the city of Turda. The approximately two-kilometer-long gorge is traversed by the Hăşdate brook, which has dug itself into the limestone here and thus breaks through the ridge of the Trascău Mountains. The gorge is bounded on both sides by approximately 300 meter high steep walls. There are several caves in these. The gorge was inhabited as early as the Neolithic Age.
Retezat National Park
The 383 km² Retezat National Park is a national park in the high mountains of the Carpathian Mountains in Romania. It was founded in 1935 as the country's first national park and is located in the Retezat Mountains in the west of the Southern Carpathians. Part of the national park has been designated as a UNESCO biosphere reserve since 1979. In 2008 the Retezat National Park was awarded the European Diploma for Protected Areas by the Council of Europe.

The statue of the Dacer king Decebalus is a 55 meter high statue and at the same time the tallest rock sculpture in Europe. It is located on a rock formation in the Almăj Mountains on the banks of the Danube near the village of Dubova, southwest of the city of Orșova, in the Iron Gate Nature Park.
