The 179 km² Simien National Park is located in the north of Ethiopia. Its name is derived from the Amharic word sämen "north". It is best known for the impressive mountain landscape. At 4533 m, Ras Daschän is the highest mountain in Ethiopia and the seventh highest in Africa. Among other things, the park was set up to protect various endemic and sometimes very endangered animal species.
Erta Ale
The Erta Ale is a basaltic shield volcano in the Afar Triangle in northeast Ethiopia, which rises to 613 m. It lies on the rift zone of the East African Rift Valley, a continental seam that runs through East Africa over a length of 6000 km to Mozambique. The volcano rises above the bottom of a dry sea that was formed when the Danakil Block was raised by plate tectonics, separating the Afar Triangle from the Red Sea.

The Bale Mountains National Park is a protected area in the Ethiopian region of Oromia. It was expelled in 1969 and protects the largest contiguous alpine landscape in all of Africa.
Fasil Ghebbi
Fasil Ghebbi is a fortress town in the Gonder region in Ethiopia and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the 16th and 17th centuries, the city was the residence of the Ethiopian Emperor Fasilidas, who built a residence here for the rainy season. His successors continued to expand the city and palace. The city lies at an altitude of 2208 m and is surrounded by a 900 m long fortress wall. It includes palaces, churches, monasteries and other public and private buildings.

This Church is an Ethiopian Orthodox church building in Addis Ababa. It is known for its traditional octagonal shape and is considered an example of a European interpretation of Ethiopian church architecture.
Abijatta Shalla National Park
The Abijatta-Shalla Lakes National Park, named after the two lakes in the national park, is an Ethiopian nature reserve in the area of the Great Rift Valley, the East African Rift Valley. The park is located about 200 km south of Addis Ababa in the Oromiyaa region.
